The COVID-19 pandemic and associated lockdowns have left a gap in these core skills, which are often developed or gained through school. This has particularly impacted those from deprived areas, where subjects such as art and creativity are not always given importance or there isn’t the financial freedom to do extracurricular activities. We believe every child should have the same opportunities to meet their potential regardless of their background or where they’re from.
All our sessions are inclusive and age-appropriate. Activities will be tailored and differentiated to engage and appeal to younger and older groups of children. Allowing us to provide a high-quality enrichment programme.
A key feature is 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity every day. We will offer the following range of sports and other forms of physical activity: Basketball, Cricket, Dodgeball, Football, Rounders, Athletics/Classic Sports Day, Nature Walks/Treks and Free Play. This will provide the children with plenty of choices and will help accommodate the different age groups, abilities and preferences. Activities will also be delivered with groups being split by age ranges, to ensure a level playing field.

Our programme incorporates a daily session after lunch, that facilitates short talks and group discussions about nutrition and health. Our team will seek to inspire the children and provide beneficial nutritional and health-related information in a fun and engaging way. Through various means like sharing fun facts, Q&As and videos. During breakfast time, we will emphasise the importance of starting one's day with a healthy nutritional breakfast, and compare different food choices.

With the older group of children, we will seek to create a safe space to discuss the issues around drug use, vaping, and alcohol consumption. Through this, their critical thinking skills will develop and help them understand that their body and how they look after it is their responsibility. All the children will be encouraged to find out more by reading through the printed information and accessing the online resources on our website, at home with their parents/guardians.
We will create a positive and stigma-free learning experience which will increase the understanding of the benefits of good nutrition, healthy lifestyles and exercise.
