  • 00 Days To Go!

We will provide a range of enriching activities that develop children both academically and personally. Our programme will focus on developing and consolidating key skills such as writing, speaking and expressive arts skills. The atmosphere and fun environment will provide the young people with a safe space to learn together and form new friendships. There will be different activities every day to excite and capture their minds. They'll want to keep coming back!

The COVID-19 pandemic and associated lockdowns have left a gap in these core skills, which are often developed or gained through school. This has particularly impacted those from deprived areas, where subjects such as art and creativity are not always given importance or there isn’t the financial freedom to do extracurricular activities. We believe every child should have the same opportunities to meet their potential regardless of their background or where they’re from.

All our sessions are inclusive and age-appropriate. Activities will be tailored and differentiated to engage and appeal to younger and older groups of children. Allowing us to provide a high-quality enrichment programme.

A key feature is 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity every day. We will offer the following range of sports and other forms of physical activity: Basketball, Cricket, Dodgeball, Football, Rounders, Athletics/Classic Sports Day, Nature Walks/Treks and Free Play. This will provide the children with plenty of choices and will help accommodate the different age groups, abilities and preferences. Activities will also be delivered with groups being split by age ranges, to ensure a level playing field.

  1. A mix of individual and team sports
  2. Improve hand-eye coordination; develop movement and agility; enhance catching, throwing, and dodging skills
  3. Fun and engaging, and will aid children’s physical and mental well-being and improve self-confidence
  4. Inclusive for everyone and all children are encouraged to participate
  5. A positive environment that promotes fair play, teamwork and healthy competition
  6. Activities that can easily be done after the programme too, whether in school, with friends or by joining a club

With Ramadan in mind, there will also be options to partake in lighter activities like gentle walks if any children who are fasting don’t want to partake in strenuous physical activity.

Our programme incorporates a daily session after lunch, that facilitates short talks and group discussions about nutrition and health. Our team will seek to inspire the children and provide beneficial nutritional and health-related information in a fun and engaging way. Through various means like sharing fun facts, Q&As and videos. During breakfast time, we will emphasise the importance of starting one's day with a healthy nutritional breakfast, and compare different food choices.

With the older group of children, we will seek to create a safe space to discuss the issues around drug use, vaping, and alcohol consumption. Through this, their critical thinking skills will develop and help them understand that their body and how they look after it is their responsibility. All the children will be encouraged to find out more by reading through the printed information and accessing the online resources on our website, at home with their parents/guardians.

We will create a positive and stigma-free learning experience which will increase the understanding of the benefits of good nutrition, healthy lifestyles and exercise.

Creative Sparks Spring Holiday Club 2026 Programme

The sessions feature designated themes, providing focused exploration and a logical progression of activities. This  approach allows children to anticipate and understand the planned activities, creating a cohesive experience throughout the programme. There will be ample time dedicated to each area, enabling a more thorough exploration, skill refinement, and a deeper understanding of creative aspects. The distinct and unique themes will foster excitement and encourage active participation, and keep them coming back every day!
